MedMira develops, manufactures and markets a robust line of rapid diagnostic tests that address some of today's greatest healthcare challenges, including infectious diseases like HIV and Hepatitis C. Beginning as a challenge between two scientists in 1994, the company has refined its unique flow-through technology to produce the fastest and highest quality diagnostics in the world. This is evidenced by the approvals from the US Food and Drug Administration (FDA), China's State Food and Drug Administration (SFDA), Health Canada and the European Union's CE Mark we have achieved with our rapid HIV test. We have also earned ISO certification and implemented Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), further testaments to our unwavering commitment to producing the highest quality diagnostics on the market today.
We continue to build on our line of rapid diagnostics, expanding it to include a line of tests that detect multiple diseases simultaneously. We are also intensifying our focus on confirmatory testing and the ability to offer customers an end-to-end diagnostic system. Through our division, we are en route to changing the face of laboratory diagnostics with biosensor technologies, which will make the routine laboratory tests of today obsolete, and improve both the delivery of healthcare services and the patient experience.
